Robert has completed two complete renovations for me in the last 3 years. They both included new bathrooms, kitchens and flooring and one of the houses required complete re-wiring and re-plumbing. W5 construction has done several renovations for myself and other members of my family. The projects ranged from two complete house renovations, a kitchen extension and two loft conversions. The standard of the work was excellent and the after care service continues to this day. What makes W5 stand out from other builders I have used before is the relationship they build with their clients and how they work. They respond to any queries within 24 hours during the build and since our first project whenever I have needed them they have come no matter how small the job is. When working on site the men start at 08.00 and they never leave before 18.00, what a joy. [RK Builders] completed a single story kitchen extension and extensive house decoration for me in 2009. The extension required a lot of steel work to support walls. Robert and his team completed a fantastic job of high quality to time and budget. We did encounter some challenges along the way (due to my architect) however Robert and his team dealt with every challenge with ease. I would highly recommend them for the quality of their work, can do attitude and I felt I could trust them completely. I will use them again the next time I have a similar project.

RK Builders were contracted to build a rear one storey ground floor extension to my flat in North West London. They were a pleasure to work with, not only did they complete on time and to budget but they managed issues that the architect had completely ignored / missed and resolved everything very quickly. Robert and his team of fellow builders gave me and my partner a really excellent service. Not only was their price lower than the other companies they did a really excellent job. And some of the work was very technical as it involved inserting new steel beams so whole sections of wall could be removed to extend the building and put in large bi fold doors. Robert was very conscientious and we felt really cared about the project. It covered many areas of construction including framing internal walls and installing a completely new kitchen and all was done quickly and to a high standard. Roberts employees were very courteous and also easy to get on with. Can’t praise Robert and his team highly enough.
Dear Robert Can I thank you for your professionalism, skill and polite patience which you and your team provided on my Client’s refurbishment and extension scheme. The level of expertise brought to bear and the civility shown by your tradesmen during the whole of this construction project took cooperativeness to a new level. Inevitably, in taking apart the ground floor of a 90 year old house and discovering how many materials had reached the end of their natural lives, together with the surprise at finding some poor quality Victorian workmanship meant that our well laid building’s plans had to be changed as work progressed. I was very impressed, and so was my ‘hands-on’ Client, how your team calmly managed to safely & capably investigate these problems, proposed cost-efficient, practical solutions and re-organised the work schedule without it affecting the overall programme of works. I have to say this input often led to the actual improvement of the expected quality of the finished product. We are convinced that this approach stemmed from a group of skilled tradesmen, obviously with decades of experience behind them, having an inbuilt desire for attention to detail and a wish to get the finished product ‘right’. Thank you for your general level of honesty and reliability exhibited throughout the works which was highlighted by the complete transparency on costs from start to finish. This left my Client with the feeling of having achieving great value for money whilst realising a beautiful new living environment for their family. Working with all of the W5 Development team has been a fabulous experience. As first timerenovators – we had no experience of doing up a house and I have to say working with Robert was an absolute pleasure. He always took the time to explain clearly what was happening and what he needed from us. What was even more impressive was that even when things did go wrong they responded quickly and without drama. Throughout the build Robert took the time to continuously check what we wanted and would adjust things without hesitation if we requested a change. Bottom line a 15 week build was delivered on time, on budget and without any drama. I recommend them without the slightest hesitationand would gladly open our doors to let you see their work.
